Hi, I'm Mark, and I'm an actor (think you might have guessed that by now).
I began working at an early age, doing short films, music videos, corporates, whilst at school. Then I went on to study Drama at University of Hull. (Hull mafia, woo!) Since graduating, I've gathered a varied number of credits on both stage and screen.
On stage, most recently I was lucky enough to be cast in WW1 play THE CAUSE (by Jeremy James) at the Jermyn Street Theatre, playing the torturous Major Tankosic. The CAUSE was directed by Andrew Shepherd (ED Theatre503, ACS Random) and supported by the Park Theatre.
I also appeared in Ben Jonson's THE ALCHEMIST at the Rosemary Branch Theatre (Timeout Critics' Choice), Laura Wade's OTHER HANDS at the Cockpit Theatre, amongst others.
On screen, I played series regular "Hunger-strike" on the BBC's CLONE, a sitcom about a super-soldier gone wrong (starring Jonathan Pryce and feat. Mark Gatiss & Simon Bird), have appeared in the action comedy THE HOT POTATO (Prod) alongside Ray Winstone and starred in horror CREDO alongside Myanna Buring (Twilight, Kill List) & Clay Watson (The Matrix 2 & 3), amongst many other roles.
I've also worked with popular online comedy channels. With BBC Brit we made a series called SAS: Socially Awkward Situations, A Survival Guide, directed by Dipak Patel (with Kirsty Mann).
I'm one of the resident actors for Sneaky Zebra, an online comedy/movie channel with over 30 million views, and have worked with many comedians such as Jenny Bede (Josh, Murder In Successville) on sketches/parodies.
I've studied & taught a variety of martial arts over the years including Shotokan Karate & Shaolin Kung-Fu. I've also been working as a social dynamics and confidence coach for 10 years, having coached over 3000 clients on how to be at their best in social situations. I also have extensive law enforcement training.
When not acting, I'm a huge movie buff, so if you're cinema mad like me, join me over on social media and we can annoy people with our Top 10 Lists.
Anyway, that's me! Now tell me about you. No it's fine, you don't have to. Unless you want to, then feel free.
M.
